Dr. Leslie Sanders provides in-home euthanasia and hospice care with Azure Holland, supporting families in Holly Springs, Raleigh, and across the Triangle.
Her connection to this work is personal. While away at college, she lost her childhood cat, Coke, without the opportunity to be there for his goodbye. Years later, being present for her beloved cats, Skitty and Jezabelle, showed her the comfort that thoughtful veterinary care can bring to a family.
These experiences continue to shape her approach: gentle care for each companion, clear guidance for their family, and time to say goodbye in familiar surroundings.
Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Leslie earned her Bachelor of Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University and attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her final year of clinical training at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine.
She moved to Holly Springs with her family in 2016. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, baking, and cheering on the Philadelphia Flyers. She shares her life with her husband, three sons, and their cat, Elsa.
