Last week I had to make the hardest decision of my life: to put my little love Jack down. 8 years ago, I picked out Max and Jack from the breeder at 8 weeks old. They have been my life since, the yin and yang of my personality. Every life decision I have made has had them in mind first and I couldn’t imagine it any other way. Even when Jack was sick with allergies we worked around it, and then the cancer came and we adjusted. Max and Jack were inseparable and had never known life without each other. Jack had been tough for quite a while but started to go downhill pretty quickly which was heartbreaking for me and Max to watch. I am so thankful for Dr Holland and how amazing she is not only as a Veterinarian, but also as a person. I could not have asked for a more loving way for Jack to leave this world, at home with me and Max by his side as his peacefully went to sleep. I am not sure what I would have done without Dr Holland.
Thank you for being you.”
