An invitation for veterinarians called to in-home end-of-life care
If you’re exploring whether this work might fit your life, we invite you to read on.
At Azure Holland, our work is rooted in presence.
We are a locally owned North Carolina practice devoted exclusively to in-home end-of-life care for dogs and cats. Every visit is guided by empathy, patience, and respect—for both the pet and the people who love them.
This work asks for clinical skill and emotional intelligence in equal measure. We move slowly, listen carefully, and give families the time they need—without rushing, pressure, or productivity-driven expectations. Our goal is not volume, but steadiness. Not efficiency, but care.
As a member of our veterinary team, you are supported as a whole person. We value your time, your boundaries, and your longevity in this work. Schedules are intentionally flexible, allowing you to build a rhythm that fits your life while doing work that feels deeply meaningful.
Here, your presence matters. And the care you provide stays with families long after the visit ends.
An Invitation
Our roots are in the Triangle, where we’ve built a trusted, locally grounded practice. As the need for thoughtful end-of-life care continues to grow, we are expanding intentionally across North Carolina—always with care for the clinicians who make this work possible.
This invitation is for veterinarians who value connection over pace, clarity over urgency, and quality over quantity. Whether you are based in the Triangle or elsewhere in North Carolina, we welcome conversations with clinicians who feel aligned with this approach and curious about growing alongside us.
There is no rush. We prioritize fit, readiness, and shared values over timelines.
Practicing in North Carolina—With Thoughtful Support

Caseloads are flexible, with no production quotas or productivity pressure. Documentation is streamlined and purposeful—designed to support good medicine while respecting the schedule you choose to work. Scheduling, coordination, and client communication are handled centrally, allowing you to remain present during visits and leave work at work.
