It has taken a long time for me to be able to think about my baby boy Franklin without breaking down and crying, but now I can and wanted to send you my deepest thanks for everything you did for us. Your compassion, understanding, kindness and empathy are unsurpassed. Because of you, Franklin and I were able to stay together as long as possible and he could pass peacefully in his own home and in his favorite place in the whole world – my lap. I loved him more than anything in this world and miss him so very much, but we will meet again.L.E.
Last week I had to make the hardest decision of my life: to put my little love Jack down. 8 years ago, I picked out Max and Jack from the breeder at 8 weeks old. They have been my life since, the yin and yang of my personality. Every life decision I have made has had them in mind first and I couldn’t imagine it any other way. Even when Jack was sick with allergies we worked around it, and then the cancer came and we adjusted. Max and Jack were inseparable and had never known life without each other. Jack had been tough for quite a while but started to go downhill pretty quickly which was heartbreaking for me and Max to watch. I am so thankful for Dr Holland and how amazing she is not only as a Veterinarian, but also as a person. I could not have asked for a more loving way for Jack to leave this world, at home with me and Max by his side as his peacefully went to sleep.
